The Component Based Architecture (CBA) is used for development of modular, flexible and robust components that are to be used in several leading products, for example in 3G and 4G mobile networks, such as ECS, IMS, M-MGW, SGSN, MME, BSC, RNC, CUDB and HLR.
Our challenges are to develop the new Switching Product SMX (System Main Switch) and DCX (Distributed Cloud Switch), based on current portfolio, SCX (System Control Switch), CMX (Component Main Switch) and DMX (Distributed main switch.
We are looking for skilled Software Developers to work with both design and/or I&V Test for development and maintenance projects. Your work will be developing switching SW, mainly C on a Linux OS and/or basic/feature test.

Qualifications
You should be a skilled programmer or/and tester and have deep knowledge of Linux within the area of IP/Ethernet communication.
Requested competence in several of the following areas:
• Knowledge and experience of C programming, Erlang is regarded as an advantage
• SW architecture, Ethernet switching and IP Routing
• Unit/module/basic test, code quality assurance and test automation
JCAT, Java
• You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.
• Result oriented, responsible, flexible and innovative with good communication skills
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
Formal education of Master of Science or Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in, computer science, communications, electronic engineering or similar. An academic degree is an advantage but more important is to have strong experience of SW design.
