The Global Competence Hub will support all 10 Regions by delivering strategic competence to maximize customer value in selected engagements. An important role will be to support new product and services introductions. It will also serve as a platform to leverage acquisitions globally. GCH is now looking for Services Engineers for Competence Domain OSS to join its team based in Sweden.
As a Solution Architect in GCH OSS, you will be responsible for the implementation of Ericsson OSS solutions.
You will be required to act as the technical lead for development and deployments, with a high level of Customer interaction and co-ordination with Product Development Units, regional Competence Centers and the Customer Technical and Marketing Teams. As technical lead you will be responsible to secure that the deliveries of solutions to customers are made in a professional way.
The role may involve international travel with assignments lasting from 1 day to 3+ months depending of business needs.
This is a highly visible and pro-active role requiring good inter-personal skills. It will demand interaction with Account Teams and the end customer, in order to understand the operator's business issues, and to be able to find opportunities for evolving our solutions, thereby creating new business. It also demands good networking capabilities. This role is likely to be suited to senior technical persons with end-to-end Technical knowledge of the OSS area, with demonstrable Communication and Consultative skills.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
• Manage customers' requirements and customer expectations from pre-sales through to the handover stages of the project
• Provide leadership and senior competence for local integration teams.
• Identify the impacts and risks as a result of the solution introduction, and recommendations on solution evolution
• Share and transfer knowledge, and mentor the other team members
• Participate in customer workshops, provide solution and technical expertise and deliver solution presentations
• Identify add on sales opportunities via a close cooperation with the customer in the delivery projects and drive business with the customer by finding new opportunities by expanding existing solutions as well as creating new ones.
• Interact with customer, 3rd Party suppliers, and other Service Delivery organization

You have most of the following:
• Very good knowledge of the OSS product portfolio.
• Extremely good understanding of the Fault Management application in OSS-RC.
• Automation/FMX and SON applied on mainly GSM, 3G, 4G, CORE
• Complex Event Processing systems knowledge.
• Network Management System experience: Netcool or TeMIP
• NOC Process analysis and re-engineering exposure
• Business Process Management tools and concepts.
• Web Services architect and design is highly valued
• Strong track record in engaging with customers and strong problem solving skills and analytical ability
• Competence in other telecom & datacom areas e.g. WRAN, LTE, EPC, BSS is advantage
• BUGS Services Engineer certification is advantage
• Minimum of BE in Engineering or equivalent
The role may involve extensive travel with assignments lasting from 1 day to 3+ months.
