Verification Engineer PDU Platform , Controller & Classic System verification

We now seek System Testers to strengthen our System verification organization.

We are looking for persons that are highly interested and experienced in system test and/or Tr-shooting in maintenance support, especially in the IP area.

Our section has the responsibility for Feature System Verification and for Maintenance support (CSR) and we are performing our work in agile teams.
PDU Platform is a unit containing core assets in telecom platforms and common modules used for WCDMA, MGW, GSM and LTE. The major platforms within the unit are CPP, RCS and BBI containing both the execution environment, middleware and software tools for development and trouble shooting. Key components developed by CPP are the control system, network synchronization, switching, signaling and transport over IP and ATM. The PDU is a global organization with people in Kista, Croatia, India, Russia and China.
The sector Maintenance and System Verification is responsible to verify and support most of the platforms used within WCDMA and the Controller & Classic system verification is responsible for verifying quality and characteristics of CPP parts which are grounds for EVO controller, RNC and also Media Gateway.
Your daily work will involve test analysis, preparing test scenarios, writing test cases, executing tests on a number of HW configurations, automation of test cases, analyzing test results and troubleshooting faults.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in Maintenance support work for the released Platform products (FOA support and CSR investigation/answering)
Where troubleshooting of customer problems and questions is part of the daily work, as well as participation in task forces for solving difficult customer
problems.

All of our teams have close co-operation with system design, SW design and integration.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. or M. Sc. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science and Engineering, Data Communication or equivalent academic degree
• Experience in System, Function or Integration test
• Good communication skills
• Open minded and analytical
• A driven and flexible personality
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Linux skills
• Trouble shooting experience in IP Network environments would be beneficial
• ATM knowledge
• Good understanding of Telecom Networks
• Ability to work in teams but also ability to take initiative and work independently when needed
• Have an interest to constantly learn and share your new findings

It is also desirable to have

• Experience from RNC, Mgw, RBS or LTE
• CPP Troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of the following protocols IP, UDP, RTP, GTP-U, SCTP, RSTP, IPSec
• Java knowledge
• Hands on knowledge of IP equipment such as routers and switches (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, HP)
• PLM or Customer Support
