Job description
PIM Core and IMS will strengthen the current organisation by hiring a new Test Designer for development of test solutions.
Our unit is responsible for bringing forward high competent test programs aimed for manufacturing and support and are also responsible for test in other sites world wide. We design high value adding solutions for Core & IMS including high capable network switches, routers and electronics. Our guiding stars are high faults detection and test stability.
Our mission is to find the faults before our customer do.
Our main tasks are to 1) develop 2) industrialize and 3) maintain high quality test solutions aimed for strategic HW design and manufacturing. Our goal is also to secure our overall supply chain with world class fault detection, efficient test time, test stability, flexibility and cost efficiency.
We rely on a continues cooperation with several Ericsson Development Units (DUs and PDUs) as well as with BUGS. Our responsibility covers a wide range of products with the platforms AXE and Common Components:
Mobile Switching & BSC
Wireline Switching
Packet Core
IMS
User Management
Gateways & RXI
Core Site Products
OSS
TSP
CPP
AXE
IS
WPP
OEM Service Layer
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Science degree in Electronics.
You are interested in Digital technique.
Experience from design or test is a plus.
The ability to work in teams
Good communication skills
Have an open mind and like to collaborate bordless!
Good English and Swedish writing and conversation skills
Business trips will be a natural part of the job
