Job Description
As a System Engineer, you will have an important role in the development of the LTE radio network and your contributions will have a clear impact on the end result.
We are searching for qualified candidates for the following system design functions: Traffic Control, and SON (Self Organizing Networks).
At Traffic control, your focus will on radio network traffic control and mobility functions, system interfaces, control signaling, traffic models and load control.
At SON, your focus will be on radio network features such as; self configuration, self optimization, self healing and security
This role also offers you the opportunity to follow the product from its early development phase up to its delivery to the customer.
These positions are based in Linköping, Sweden.
Who are you?
A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Data Communication or equivalent academic degree is required.
• Working as a System Engineer requires that you have experience of programming in languages such as C++, Java and Matlab.
• A strong theoretical ability to understand complex systems (such as radio networks)
• Good communication skills are required
• Knowledge and experience from Agile development is seen as an advantage.
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken - is essential.
In this role, you will need to be a self-starter who can take the initiative and work independently while at the same time being an effective team player. Leading skills are also required since team leading and technical leadership is part of the job. You will need to work to deadlines and be focused on results. Most importantly, we want someone who is open to learning and will share their findings with others.
