DU Core IMS is providing our customer Circuit Switched and IP Multimedia Networks solutions that promote our customers' business growth by enabling them to offer superior services at competitive cost. We develop Core products and solutions (Mobile, Wireline, User Management, IMS, Common Components and AXE) and handle product Introduction/FOA execution, support and maintenance of installed base and also work with Technology and architecture evolution, Standardization, R&D life cycle management and R&D efficiency improvements and Operational Excellence
We are currently looking for both Senior Network Verification Engineers and newly graduates: with focus on network integration and trouble shooting of all IMS nodes. Your role will be to analyze, prepare/develop and execute network features for Integration and Verification; to trouble shoot, provide solutions and trouble report faults found in and around these features and their test environment.
You will be part of a dynamic feature team. The team is responsible from the pre-study until the testing on simulated and real environment is done. We are using an agile way of working, which means that we are working in cross functional teams with system managers, designers and testers, developing the software iterative.
The work involves tasks such as:
• Installation, configuration, provisioning and trouble shooting of IMS systems
• Trouble Reporting and providing feedback to IMS products on found issues
• Participating in the improvement work with developing the processes and tools
• Driving documentation such as Test Analysis and Test Verification
• Preparation and Execution of tests including both manual and automation testing methods
Qualifications
You have an academic degree in computer science or software engineering or equivalent and relevant experiences in software development.
You are keen on solving problems as they arise and have a genuine technical interest in understanding the systems requirements and the end to end perspective.
Your English is fluent and you are a pragmatic, people and solution oriented person who has proven communication and team skills as well as proven skills in working in a distributed and international organization.
Good to have:
• Advantage if you have skills in cross functional team work, preferably in Agile/Scrum teams
• Experience of multimedia, 3GPP IMS, VoIP or protocols like SIP, TCP/IP, Diameter, IPv6/v4, H.323, H248
• Experience of Linux development
• Experience of object oriented and scripting languages such as C++, Perl, Python etc.
