We now need to expand our veterinary team.
The Blue Star Animal Hospital in Borås is an independent animal hospital run as a foundation. We are an on-call referral animal hospital with expertise in surgery, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, dermatology, internal medicine, imaging, dentistry, emergency care and a well-developed laboratory with two full-time biomedical analysts. We have specialised teams in different areas of care. We accept all types of cases, booked as well as acute patients.
We offer stimulating and varied work where we strive for a balance between work and leisure time and for you to be able to influence your work situation. There are great opportunities for personal development with an individual training plan, as well as the possibility of specialist training stage 1.
It may be an advantage if you have a few years' experience of working in a clinic/animal hospital, but we also welcome those who are at the beginning of their career. Wherever you are in your development as a veterinarian, we will support you in your daily work and further development as a veterinarian.

We offer a permanent position
Desirable working hours between 80-100%.(32-40 hours / week)
Start of the position by agreement.
We have a collective agreement with SVF, as well as a working time reduction agreement.
We will have interviews on an ongoing basis until 31 December 2022

Borås is located in a valley with surrounding ridges with a lake in the north called Öresjö.
We are about 110 thousand inhabitants with surrounding municipalities, the city has a strong growth of new businesses
The affordability and availability of housing, own house, rental apartment and condominium is better than our nearest big city in the west Gothenburg which is 30 minutes from Borås.
As a resident of Borås, distances to shops, school, health care are short and in most cases travel time to work is short.
Nature is always close at hand, our "allemansrätt" allows us to move freely in nature. Around Borås there are many different activities linked to our nature, fishing, mushroom and berry picking, exercise for both people and their pets.
