Who you are
You're a driven, resourceful, and resilient Senior Legal Counsel, interested in commercial negotiations, privacy, data protection, and information security. Able to resolve complex issues independently even under high-pressure situations, your strong legal background enables you to build a solid foundation of legal understanding and compliance across the organisation, empowering your colleagues with the knowledge they need to succeed.
What you'll do
As the superhero of our story, you'll tackle commercial contract negotiations under tight deadlines, juggle privacy and GDPR concerns involving prospects, customers, and vendors, handle employment related matters for the headquarters and all international subsidiaries, and even take on the role of Secretary of the Board. Managing the company's risks and promoting legal understanding and compliance throughout our expanding organisation, this role offers diverse projects and the opportunity to stay up-to-date with industry developments. Your background and skill set
Master of Law degree from one of the Nordic countries
Proven experience at a law firm or as a senior legal counsel at another company, preferably in a listed company
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing terms of use, privacy policies, and data protection agreements
Comprehensive knowledge of commercial contract negotiations, including DPAs, SLAs, and service terms, while managing multiple project
Expertise in GDPR, eIDAS regulations, and Nordic labor laws
Ability to adapt and excel in a high-pressure, rapidly changing work environment
Solid understanding of tech environments and the ability to navigate technical aspects of the role, knowledge of SaaS product development is merit
Pragmatic and self-sufficient, adept at resolving issues independently to close deals
