We are looking for Product Developers to two of our categories within R&D Personal Care, specifically within Baby and Incontinence care. As a Product Developer, you are responsible for developing new and existing products to meet the consumer and customer needs, business and brand needs, ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency and competitiveness. We as a team translates consumer needs to product functions and further to product design, technical solutions and establish specifications with relevant targets, methods and tolerances.

The roles will be located in Gothenburg (Mölndal) and are permanent positions.

Main Tasks
As a Product Developer, you will:

Manage the required development of new and existing products, as a sub-project leader or project member in cross functional project teams
Have many external contacts, such as material- and machine suppliers and test institutes
Your work will involve regular consumer contact and the position will cover tasks in early idea generation to production and launch
Perform test runs in factory and on pilot machine
Execute activities for claim substantiation
Lead and/or participate in R&D enabling projects/activities to improve state of readiness for future innovation



Main Tasks
Create, amend and delete Master Data
Develop and perform master data trainings for business counterparts to ensure appropriate involvement and understanding of Master Data processes
Review and respond to enquiries related to Master Data, taking a decision or escalating issues, concerns or risks as appropriate
Perform regular data reviews, identify issues or improvement areas related to data handling, perform root cause analysis and recommend improvement activities to safeguard data quality
Calculate and follow-up on KPI's, and perform ad hoc reporting and data analysis
Support and co-operate with Business Data Users and other stakeholders on request
Report system incidents and drive system improvements with IT; represent business in system change activities including taking the lead in system testing and business verification
Contribute to projects and initiatives related to relevant master data

Key Competencies
M.Sc. or University degree within a technical field, preferably Mechanical, Industrial Design, Chemistry or equivalent within relevant practice
Minimum of 5 years ' experience within product development or high-volume manufacturing
Passion for product development and experience in product life cycle management
Strong technical interest
Experience from project management and a background within the medical technology industry is beneficial
Fluent in English, both verbal and written
Ability to travel as the function requires visits to factories and suppliers both in and outside Europe. You are expected to travel 30-60 days per year
