We are now recruiting an experienced leader and visionary Print Designer Lead to H&M MOVE head office in Stockholm to help reach this goal!
Job Description
You are a Print Designer Lead with responsibility for our visionary forward and innovative print design and trims development for our strong dedicated standalone H&M Move collections. We are looking for you who have great knowledge from graphic design and working with trims and you know how to design print expressions combining these elements for outstanding visual products! You are highly skilled with textile graphic prints, allover prints, illustrative prints merging all print styles with trims components and develop fashion forward sports prints.
A self driven and strongly motivated active sportswear print designer with a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for sportswear and the outdoors active wear products. You are well-organized, love teamwork, are humble and have strong and clear communication skills. You are motivated by being part of building our new sport print collection, adapting as we develop and constantly finding new ways of working in a creative and diverse environment. The role includes womens, mens and kids wear and you will be responsible for 2 print designers. You are a team player used to fast strategic decision making and the role requires a broad, entrepreneurial and very agile growth mindset.
You are responsible for driving the overall developing of visionary fashion sport prints, and graphics to be sold globally in our H&M markets and omni channels
You drive and spear head the print vision, trims development and push the print team further, you see what we need to get where we wish to go for the future!
You are responsible for 2 print designers and also collaborate with other teams and functions in the organization and bring your wide and extensive experience from working on many projects, and your ability to collaborate with varied stake holders simultaneously. You know how to inform and be informed by each others' expertise and knowledge.
You bring your fresh ideas, energy, print design creativity and fully diverse global perspective to the team and inspire them through your great communication skills
You will work on many projects simultaneously without loosing speed. This requires high energy and flexibility, strong independent drive and a constantly curious mindset
Qualifications
You are an experienced Fashion Textile/Print and/or Graphic Designer with work experience from (preferably) commercial fashion sports brand/s
Highly skilled in creating all over repeat, placement prints, graphics and understand the branding impact of these
Strong in typography/ text print is a must and you know street, sport and outdoor graphics aesthetics well
The role requires a deep knowledge of working with sports trims, details, materials and its future innovation possibilities
Experience of building full print fashion collections
High knowledge of different print techniques, general print technicalities and processes but also seeking innovation
Firsthand experience from production/global print suppliers
Excellent illustration and strong drawing skills and great eye for color
Genuine and high level fashion forward sense for global fashion + sports print trends
3D CLO experience is meriting
You are an experienced leader who thrives as a team player
Fluent in English (Swedish is not necessary)
