Our Department, Vehicle Software-R&D has the accountability to support all development areas (R&D) within Volvo Group with digital solutions and capabilities.
Organization wise our department lies in the Unit; Core Platform Area (CPA) Software & Diagnostics and it's a new function within Technology that is a part of Digital and IT organization.
We are now recruiting a people leader (Delivery manager/line manager) for our amazing highly skilled CI/CD team. Our team is a fledgling platform and enablement team. We maintain (and help developers at R&D to maintain their instances of) various services and applications. We also help developers use these in smarter/better ways by providing guidance and support. Notable services include JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, ELK, etc.
Ultimately, our goal is to understand and anticipate developer needs, supply them with a platform of tools they need, and guide users to use those tools to their full potential. To that end, we're looking to improve the way we work as a team, how we interface with the developers depending on us and how we provide/maintain the platform to make it a better experience for all involved.

You have a previous hands-on Scrum master or Release Train Engineer experience and poses agile behaviors and mindset.
You will be working with team development, and you will be using that skillset daily to help the team grow with cross functionality and to become high performing.
You are asked to identify and solve escalated team impediments with main attention on flow and escalate them when needed.
You will be responsible for the employees' work environment according to defined tasks and for all PX/HR employee related processes (e.g. salary setting, appraisals, goal setting).
You will be responsible for Recruitment, Labor Relations, Health & Safety and usual line manager responsibilities.
We believe that experience related to the automotive industry is an advantage.
We believe experience in Embedded Software Development, Configuration Management or that you're experienced within digital tools creation is meritorious for this role.
You will work close to vendors, supplier, and Digital Product Owners to make sure the team have the prerequisites to succeed and that the impediments get solved.
You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
