Inter IKEA Group brings together three areas: Retail Concept, Range and Supply. Together we work constantly to improve the IKEA home furnishing offer and make it more accessible for the many people. You will be part of IKEA Supply and the Supply Chain Development organization. IKEA Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.
Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units at IKEA Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities. By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs. We are now looking for a Functional Specialist with a curios and problem solving mindset!
Job Description

Functional Specialist will be your core competence, but you will be given the opportunity to grow new skills along the way. Our development agenda steers where you will contribute. This gives you the ability to grow and learn in different domains and skills.
As Functional Specialist, you will ensure that the users of the application within defined Digital Product/Platform have a relevant, user friendly and reliable application that helps them achieve their business goals.
Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Responsible for the delivery of the assigned applications including business development according to Digital Product priorities, release management, life cycle management and the operation (run) of the applications, business continuity and business support. Contribute to continuous improvement of the applications.
Contributes to key stakeholder management and expectations through strong relationships. Interact with process and business functions, user community, application management and software suppliers, Service Operations, Architecture and other relevant functions for applications performance improvement.
Responsible for applications compliance with rules and standards, legal/regulatory requirements as well as adherence to relevant delivery process standards.
Contribute to business development activities.
In co-operation with the Digital Product Leader and Product team and relevant business functions, develop and secure established ways of working for the applications, relevant learning and communication for the applications.
Secure business support for the applications in co-operation with the process and business functions.
Lead and contribute with education and coaching the support team to ensure quality support for end users.
Responsible to support development tasks of the assigned Digital Product according to needs.
Support in identifying resource requirements.

Qualifications
We offer a challenging role in a changing and global environment, you will be able to contribute to develop how we do planning in IKEA with connected applications and processes.
We are looking for a person with a strong capability to understand both the end-to-end process, the technical requirements and have a very good knowledge of the business context. A background in Demand Planning will be an advantage.
For success in this role we believe that you:
Are able to use and interpret facts and analysis to explain needed development but also have the ability to communicate findings in an easily understood way.
Are strong in analytics and the interpretation of it.
Don't hesitate to try out new ways and adapt and improve how we work and deliver to IKEA.
Have the ability to take initiative and getting things done to move needed development in the backlog.
Lead with a business mind-set, challenge and collaborate stakeholders and determine what is relevant.
Have the ability to prioritize.
Can explain the business to non-business functions.
A team player with very good collaboration, communication and networking skills.
Enjoy supporting others and being part of a team that both deliver at a high pace and have fun together.
