Our team, Infrastructure Delivery, supplies Scania's different development teams with infrastructure solutions, which the whole of Scania is dependent of. You will be involved in the strategic development in cloud, on premises and in our edge environments.
Tasks included in the position:
• Development of the Linux platform.
• Work within different projects to create new applications.
• Collaborate with different departments and manage areas such as modulization, databases, web and containers.
We wish that you have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with our development teams. You are a team player but are also comfortable working independently. As the corporate language is English, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.
You have a strong proficiency in Red Hat or Linux/Unix Administration and is acquainted with the following competencies:
• Experience in Linux operation systems.
• Experience with automation/configuration tools such as Ansible.
• Have a basic knowledge of networking and storage solutions.
• Experience of scripting and software development.
Desired skills:
• Ansible Tower
• ManageIQ / CloudForms
• VMware
• AWS
