Head of Customs and Foreign Trade
As our future Customs and Foreign Trade (FT) responsible you will have the opportunity to work in a global company with the focus on the Nordic and Baltic countries. It is a strategic function on FT governance in order to ensure legal compliance together with other internal stakeholders. FT includes Customs Import, Export, Trade Agreements, Export Control and defined Foreign Trade Master Data.
Your contribution to something big.
* You will get to know various areas of the company and work with colleagues from different countries, divisions and functions in the region.
* You will be part of the international FT governance network within Bosch and act within the overarching group FT policy and standardization.
* You will issue directives and define compliance relevant requirements.
* You will evaluate and approve business models, manage FT risks professionally and actively including internal control systems.
* You will monitor legal changes, analyzing impact and initiate required action.
* You will issue monitoring procedures for sensitive business areas.
* You will develop solutions to reduce customs duties within the legal framework.
* You will manage audits of Customs Authorities.
In order to be prosperous in this position we assume that you have;
* About 5 years of experience in specializing in customs, in-depth knowledge of customs regulations and processes.
* Possession of relevant experience within freight forwarders, customs brokers, professional services and industry.
* A robust technical background in all key areas of the customs process (classification, valuation, origin and special procedures).
* Material experience of managing relationships with Customs Authorities and a deep understanding of legal requirements.
* Skilled negotiator, communicator and relationship developer at multiple levels across multiple functions.
* Fluent in Swedish and English
In addition, we need a person with specific tax knowledge. Preferably in corporate income tax, transfer pricing and/or payroll tax. You have either work experience or studies within this field.
