We have gained experience with the design and integration of a large number of systems in the field of controls, joining technologies, robotics, transport- and handling systems, clamping fixtures and specialized equipment. Moreover, we have all required engineering, manufacturing and assembly disciplines such as mechanics, electronics, pneumatics / hydraulics, PLC programming and robotics available within our own organisation.
VDL Steelweld generally works directly for automotive manufacturers, with Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Volvo and BMW as some of its major clientele.
Geomatrical Technician (laser equipment)
The tasks and responsibilities of a geomatrical technician are focused on assurance of geometrical quality of tooling / equipment and production lines.
Essential requirements:
Experience and understanding of the measuring process for tooling and equipment for the production of body-in-whites.
Measuring and adjustment of tooling according to nominal design values by use of laser equipment.
Alignment of tooling and equipment at the customers installation by use of laser equipment (Cell alignment)
Good reporting skills: generating measuring reports and findings to the project team.
Fluent in English oral and written.
Quality minded.
Desirable requirements:
All-round skills: mechanical / electrical and basic automation knowledge.
Fluent in German written and oral.
Fluent in Swedish written and oral
VDL Steelweld can help with accommodation and interview for the temporary contract.
In case of a permanent contract VDL Steelweld will also support the employee with reallocation (cost to be discussed in a later stage).
