We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer - Power to work in the Electronics team of the Engineering department of the Cyclotron and TRACERcentre business.
Essential Responsibilities:
• You will be involved in developing switching power solutions with PFC's for our cyclotrons. These switching units supply spectrometers, magnetic and RF systems, 2kV-10kV 600W-20KW.
• This position will have responsibility for ongoing development in Power Electronics for the business as well as product maintenance and support for our service and production departments.
• You will be part of a development team with a broad knowledge in physics and in a team of electronic engineers who work with everything from input power to the control electronics to our cyclotrons.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering
• Several years engineering experience in power electronics
• Excellent teamwork, coordination and collaboration skills
• Strong communication skills both in English and Swedish, written and oral
• Project Management experience
Desired Characteristics:
In addition to power electronics, our team's main responsibilities include high power RF systems and verification systems, so interest and experience in these areas is of benefit.
Other desired characteristics / qualifications:
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Project manager qualifications
• Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
• Global project experience
