hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Gems Pet i Uppsala We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to work in the Electronics team of the Engineering department of the Cyclotron and TRACERcentre business.
Essential Responsibilities :
• You will be involved in developing switched power solutions with PFC's for our cyclotrons. These switched power supplies used in RF, Magnet and Ion Source systems and are in range of 2kV-10kV 600W-20KW.
• This position will have responsibility for ongoing development in Power Electronics for the business as well as product maintenance and support for our service and production departments.
• You will be part of a development team with a broad knowledge in physics and in a team of electronic engineers who work with everything from input power to the control electronics to our cyclotrons.
• BS in Power Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
• Several years engineering experience in Power Electronics or High Voltage RF
• Excellent teamwork, coordination and collaboration skills
• Strong communication skills both in English and Swedish, written and oral
• Project Management experience
Desired Characteristics : In addition to Power Electronics, our team's main responsibilities include High Voltage RF systems and Control Electronics, so interest and experience in these areas is of benefit.
Other desired characteristics / qualifications:
• MS or PhD in Power Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
• Project manager qualifications
• Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
• Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
• Global project experience
