CAE Analyst - Fuel system

The group Fuel distribution within the section Fuel system is responsible for functions and systems connected to distribution of fuel and urea to the engine. We are also responsible level indication in the vehicle for both fuel and urea and the components Fuel pump, Fuel Filters, Pump Electronic Module, Level sensor and Reductant Delivery Module. The group consists of 12 persons working as Function owners, System responsible, Component responsible, CAE analyst and Project management. We are a curious and supporting team with a high technical and functional interest.

As a CAE Analyst you will be responsible for the CAE methods and strategies for the complete fuel section and be a part of our journey moving from physical tests to virtual testing. In this position you will perform calculations and develop new methods to challenge today's portfolio of physical tests methods.

Daily work, responsibilities:

• Perform CAE calculations and report back
• Give recommendations based on performed calculations
• Be part of networks regarding licenses, computers, resources etc
• Participate in the sections technical meetings
• Build knowledge regarding calculation methods for fuel system
• Challenge the organisation regarding what can be calculated before physical testing

Required qualifications:

• M Sc or higher academic degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Physics or comparable
• A minimum of two years' experience in industrially applied CFD simulations
• Professional level of proficiency in Star CCM+ and GT suite
• Educated in several software applications within the area, preferable
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license at least B*
