We are now looking for a Building Construction Engineer to join our eCentre product team. You will be part of a team of 5 engineers and together we design data centers for our customers as well as participating in the development of the product in general. Flexenclosure delivers appealing data centre buildings using modular steel structures. Our systems are fully integrated, modular, factory tested for reliability, adaptable to local conditions and quick to install, with a short payback period and low long-term total cost of ownership.
Main responsibilities
You get a coordinating role in designing and completing a 2D layout and you work with the complete picture of the building module. You are responsible for the construction design of the building, based on e.g. sound and thermal requirements and what equipment is needed. The work also includes construction work (shaft), systems like UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), cooling and safety for fire and burglary. In this role you work as a project coordinator and will lead the engineering work in various projects responsible for timeframe, drawing, reporting and defining the project.
The tasks vary from day to day and will also include participation in quotes, defining customer requirements and taking part in technical customer meetings. Since the customers are situated all over the world, some trips will be included in this role.
Requirements
• Bachelor 's degree in Construction Engineering
• At least 5 years previous experience working in the construction industry
• Excellent skills in 2D-drawing in AutoCAD
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Driving license
• Experience to lead project design
Previous experience in data center design, modular buildings or steel buildings is a great asset. Candidates who want to stand out would also be able to show us knowledge in 3D-modelling (Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent). Knowledge in Swedish and Spanish is highly valued, but not demanded.
