A Snapshot of Your Day
For our Medium Gas Turbines Service Business in Finspång, a part of Siemens Energy Gas Services Distributed Gas Service Operations, we are looking for a person with responsibility for the release of the product bid data in our sales tool. Working within the Product Standard Team, the overall objective is optimizing the product bid data and assuring together with the data owners an efficient maintenance process for product bid data. In this role you will work closely together with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to develop and implement product cost data in our sales tool for new and existing products. The way forward will be to continue our exiting growth story and contribute to our profitable growth. You will report to Head of Product Standard and be part of a team with a broad area of experience and responsibility.
How You'll Make an Impact
* Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to develop and implement product cost data in our sales tool for new and existing products.
* Be responsible for analyze and manage product costs throughout the product lifecycle, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
* Actively collaborate with different stakeholders to align product cost updates and ensuring a transparent decision making through the whole maintain bid data process.
* Developing and maintain cost estimation models and tools to accurately predict product costs.
What You Bring
* Proven experience in product cost management, project management, cost accounting, or related roles in a manufacturing, procurement, or engineering environment.
* Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage resources, and drive project execution to achieve cost management and sales release goals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead project teams, facilitate meetings, and resolve project-related issues.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and run multiple projects simultaneously.
About the Team
As a Bid Data Release Manager, you'll be situated within the Product Standard department, a component of the Product Integration organization, within the Medium Gas Turbines product line. Alongside eight dedicated colleagues, you'll craft a robust sales configuration engine, empowering us to distribute gas turbines globally!
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
