Are you interested in being a key player in an agile product management team owning the program backlog for an agile release train of 13 agile teams developing Volvo Group 's on-board connectivity platform with innovative features?

At Vehicle Connectivity we are in the middle of the digital transformation, and we work with implementing end-to-end functions like Driver Coaching, I-See, Remote SW Download, Vehicle apps and Geofencing. Connectivity is a key enabler for fleet management, uptime services and advanced vehicle services as driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs as well as increased revenues. The development in the area of connectivity is huge, and we expect to be part of the functional growth in Active Safety and Automation in a near future.

Description of the position
The main purpose and mission of the Agile Product Owner is to, together with the agile product management team, identify needs from stakeholders, prioritize features in the team backlogs, guide the work flow and develop product roadmaps. In this position you will collaborate close with other Product Owners, System Architects, Release Manager, Release Train Engineers, different stakeholders and of course the scrum teams. You will be responsible for a part of the connectivity product, covering a set of solutions/functions which will be developed by 2-3 scrum teams.

In this role you will create an efficient and trustful day-to-day operation. You have proven experience from similar roles. It is important that you have an innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge your organization. As a person, you have a broad technical know-how combined with very good people skills, communication skills, organizational skills and a strong belief in agile methods. You have a strong ability to inspire, develop and motivate individuals and teams.
Qualifications
• Master's degree in electronics / computer engineering or equivalent education
• Minimum 5 years working experience in product development
• Experience in software development
• High competence in communication and networking
• Well spoken and written English
Meriting Qualifications
We consider experience from vehicle product development to be a merit. We also see domain specific knowledge in the Connectivity/Telematics area meriting.
