If you recognize yourself above, you are very interesting to us now that we recruit for the role of product owner.HERE WE ARE, YOUR NEW COLLEGESThe Test Automation & Verification Framework group is working hard to set up a test framework for Vehicle connectivity's new platform for the communication between trucks and Volvo Connect. It is an innovative environment where we constantly stretch the boundaries of how tomorrow's software should be tested. We have taken ownership of a number of components, which together aim to provide fast and stable results to developers in order to verify quality. Vehicle connectivity works in several domains, Android, telematics, automotive etc. we have a wonderful exchange between these different skillsets. The framework we have built up is largely based on Python and we work organizationally according to safe with scrum-team, PI-planning etc. We have also grown with many new colleagues in recent years so to balance the load on our product owners we now need you.Role DescriptionAs a product owner with us, your primary responsibility will be to prioritize and maintain your team/teams backlog. You will be the interface for the teams and are expected to handle inquiries from various stakeholders as well as improvements from architects and from the scrum master in the team. This requires that you have a good feeling for balancing short-term goals on deliveries from projects and long-term positioning goals to increase efficiency and limit technical debt. For your help you have a team with many experienced developers, software architects with a clear plan and product managers from the agile trains we supply test framework to. A large part of the role is to nurture an environment where your teams feel comfortable and feel confident in what we do.WHO ARE YOU?We expect you to have a solid background, preferably as a PO or equivalent. You should have a master degree in electronics or software development and we would be happy if you have 7 years of experience. As a person, you are good at handling other people and can diplomatically convey why you prioritize as you do. You need to be systematic and always go to the bottom with problems to find solutions and have an attitude where you stand by what you believe in.We want you to have automotive experience, preferably connected with connectivity, if you also have experience within software development, it will facilitate your understanding of the product.ARE WE A PERFECT MATCH?We need people with high technical and social skills. People who have tough skin and are ready to follow their own ideas, but who also listen to others and are ready to change their mind without thinking about prestige.
