Short description:
Service Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repairs of our Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for our customers.
This role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and ideally our Service Technician would be located in the Gothenburg area.
The work requires travelling around 60% of the time - mainly within Sweden, but also within Denmark and Norway.
Tasks in detail:
Carry out installation, service, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of measuring equipment in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Carry out simple training for machine operators.
Connect hardware and install software.
Solve simple metrological application problems.
Register and document the work performed.
Provide technical support to sales personnel in fairs, customer meetings, etc.
Report to the Service Coordinator and Service Manager.
Requirements:
8-10 years of experience working for industrial companies in technical roles.
Fluent Swedish and a good level of English, both spoken and written.
Availability to travel 60% of the time and to spend on average 2 nights /week away from home
B driving license.
Nice to have:
Experience from IT tools relevant to the position, such as 3D programming skills
Experience from technical support roles, working with CMMs or CNC.
