About the role
In this role you will manage and lead the Global Entity Management ( 'GEM ') team of TMF Sweden. The GEM team is a legal team, that performs a range of legal administrative and corporate services to maintain TMF Group clients compliant with local legislation. The Swedish GEM team is part of the Nordic organization in TMF Group and works on a portfolio of mostly international clients
As our GEM - Team Lead, you will have the following main responsibilities:
Maintain and grow a strong client service delivery team, be responsible for quality and profitability of the client service delivery of the GEM team, contribute to growth of our GEM business and positioning of TMF Group in Sweden.
Among other things you will:
• Lead and guide a team of legal professionals.
• Perform fiduciary services as you will act as a director of client entities.
• Supervise the provision of a broad range of legal administrative services and filings, such as but not limited to drafting of resolutions, agreements, mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, other corporate legal processes, and assisting with financial audits and filing corporate reports etc.
• Stay up to date with legal and business developments and keep colleagues informed thereof
About you
You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad, generalist responsibilities, but with specialist legal subject skills in corporate law and regulatory matters. You should be also passionate about leading, managing and developing an effective team to achieve and surpass given targets.
You have leadership experience, a Master of Laws (LL.M) and a minimum of 5 years proven working experience with local, corporate legislation. Knowledge of Swedish taxes and international tax regulation initiatives are a benefit.
As a person you are a team player with hands-on mentality, have coordinating capacity and planning skills, are a strong communication skill, fluent in English and Swedish and you are result oriented and output driven.
