• be leading the daily operation at the department (optimizing staff, recruiting, lead and
secure IKEAs ways of working and routines).
• be planning, realize and follow-up on job-chats, wage discussions and other running
HR-related matters
• support, challenge and coach your team to secure they have the best possible
prerequisites to maximize our sales
• be collaborating with different units/functions within the store to meet the customers
needs, exceed their expectations and at the same time minimize our costs.
• together with your colleagues within the Sales Department you'll actively see to
reaching the departments goals
• constantly develop our sales- and customer focus strategies
This position offers you a diversified assignment where you get the possibility develop your knowledge in your daily work. This is a permanent and full-time position (38,25 hours/week), until further notice. Admission is according agreement. Around half of your daily work you'll take part of the operational staff at the department. Working evenings and weekends are included. By understanding the local retail market and constantly follow current and future trends, you are an expert when it comes to customer behaviour. By being a confident leader, who dares to take decisions in a constant changing environment you'll help renewing and turn us in to an even better IKEA for the many people. You have a way to bring everyone along, making everyone feel a part. By transparency, perceptiveness and clear communication you create togetherness. You have a way to see the whole picture, prioritize and structure your work - to find a natural balance between strategical and operational assignments.
