EY's Global Compliance & Reporting department (GCR) provides a wide range of integrated corporate compliance services assisting clients and their finance functions to comply with local regulations while at the same time focusing on their core business.

Working as part of a diverse global team, you will use your technical knowledge in order to assist clients with their tax accounting according to IFRS or US-GAAP as well as Swedish GAAP. Your key responsibilities:
Responsible for a portfolio of clients through a dedicated team of enthusiastic professionals
Contribute with technical insights in current and deferred tax calculations of our clients (mostly international groups) according to IFRS, US-GAAP and local Swedish GAAP
Support EY audit teams with responsibility for the audit of income taxes in consolidated financial statements of our clients according to IFRS and US-GAAP including current and deferred taxes as well as the tax part of the notes to the financial statements
Support our clients with their processes within their tax departments including tax accounting as well as tax risk reporting processes
Manage international EY teams that are working on tax accounting engagement (audit and non- audit clients) of our international groups
Develop client relations and contribute to growth of both new and existing engagements
Help to create a positive learning culture, coaching and counselling junior team members to help them develop professionally and personally as an influential member of the team
Build and lead high performing teams benefitting from collaborations between GCR Nordics, different sub-service lines


Skills and attributes for success:
Knowledge of tax accounting according to IFRS (IAS 12)
Knowledge of tax accounting according to US-GAAP and Swedish GAAP is helpful
Experience with tax calculations in common tax accounting and reporting tools as well as in Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and if possible in Swedish
Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure
Strong interpersonal, team working and leadership skills
Good project management and negotiation skills
Keen attention to high quality, details and accuracy


To qualify for the role you must have:
An University degree, preferably in Business Administration or Law
At least 5 years/ 10 years of work experience for manager/senior manager and part of it in tax accounting
Experience in working in teams and leading teams
