Business area Operations is looking for a Tactical purchaser to join our team in Gothenburg.
About the position
As a Tactical purchaser you are part of the tactical and operational purchasing team which is working in close collaboration with strategic purchasing and planning. The main focus is to purchase from and to develop our suppliers.
Job description
This position includes purchasing from our largest suppliers as well as purchasing to Project department, Product Management and express needs. You will also play an important role to develop both large and small suppliers through cooperation, follow up and negotiation. Furthermore you will improve the master data regarding suppliers, articles and other logistics parameters in our ERP-system M3.
Main duties and responsibilities
• Purchase and negotiate
• Develop and monitor suppliers
• Improve our master data, logistics parameters and the flow of material
• Understand product characteristics, production processes and technical documentation
Your profile
• Education within purchasing, logistics or engineering
• Several years of experience within purchasing or logistics
• Very good knowledge in Excel and understanding of ERP-systems
• High technical and commercial knowledge
• Documented good results achieved in previous positions
• Self-motivated and used to work with no or little guidance
Other personal qualities/traits required for this position:
• Strong communication skills in English and Swedish
• Analytical approach and an ambition to continuously improve
• Good capability to cooperate, well organized and ability to solve problems
• Customer focused and talent to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers
