The business unit develop, manufacture and market High Voltage Products for HVAC and HVDC systems, such as Surge Arresters, Circuit Breakers, Instrument Transformers, Capacitors and Cooling systems.
You will be part of High Voltage Service, a business unit within the Power Grids division in Ludvika. High Voltage Service has a worldwide ABB responsibility for After Sales and Service of High Voltage Products, with High Voltage Breakers as main driver. The markets are found both in Sweden and in other parts of the world. We have recently relocated to a bigger and more improved facility and are now looking for personnel to join us on our expansion journey.
Tasks:
As a Sales and Marketing Manager you will be responsible to develop and coach a sales team of 10-15 persons to maximize the support to our customers and growth of the business. Service is working on moving the business from small spare part orders to a more complex business. In your role you will play an important role in this mission. An important task for you will be to simplify the daily work for the team to create more time for customer interaction. You will set clear targets and follow up the individual results and coach the team to achieve even better.
You will be part of Service management team and report directly to the Local Product Group Manager. In this role you will have a lot of opportunities to develop both the business and yourself. It is an exciting journey ahead and a great career opportunity for you who are ready for a new challenge. Travelling may occur a couple of times a year.
Requirements:
You hold a university degree within engineering and have a couple of years of work experience within a relevant field. If you have former leadership experience it is considered a plus. Also, you should be able to work with different personalities and cultures. Knowledge about the Service business and/or electrical equipment is a benefit. Fluency in English is mandatory, written and spoken alike, whereas skills in Swedish are qualifying.
Your personality is of high importance. We look for you who are positive with the attitude that everything is possible to do in a team. As a leader you should be coaching and have a flexible mindset. Your ability to set clear targets, follow up and achieve results are other important skills. Lastly, you should also be patience and persistent.
