hela Sverige We are now recruiting one R & D specialist for Naturell Ab in Åkersberga just outside Stockholm. You will work close to the production with Developing recipes, scaling up and commercializing various dosage forms like tablets, capsules (hard gelatin), You have a background as a Bachelor, Master of Science (M.S.) or higher in a technical field (nutrition, biochemistry, chemistry, food science & biology). Ability to work on a strategic and tactical level.
Naturell has a long and successful history as a manufacturer and product developer of tablets and capsules containing, among other things, vitamins, dietary supplements and herbal medicines. The products are mainly distributed on the Polish market by the parent company USP Zdrowie Sp. z o i Warszawa. However, a growing part is EMV manufacturing for well known Swedish pharmacy and food suppliers. The company has production and offices in Åkersberga outside of Stockholm. Naturells operations are ISO certified according to FSSC 2200.
Main duties
• Developing recipes, scaling up and commercialising various dosage forms like tablets, capsules (hard gelatine),
• Preparation of preliminary and final raw material specification of APIs, excipients and primary packaging materials
• Revision of excipient preshipment COAs to ensure they match raw material specifications
• Preparation of calculations for new products
• Implementation of new products and new technologies into production
• Implementation of changes in the production process in order to optimize the process,
• Supervision of the technological process from conception and laboratory tests
• Technical support for R&D purchase requisitions.
• Coordination of new product projects (through, meeting with regulatory affairs, supply chain new products, purchasing and R&D team to streamline the preparation and technology transfer of new products)
• Preparation of various R&D excel sheets and reporting them to top management.
• Management of technological documentation, updating of documentation and process parameters (preparation of technical and production documentation, analyzes and test reports),
• Development of the necessary registration documentation
• Quality support for production problems
• Coordination of new product projects (through, meeting with regulatory affairs, supply chain new products, purchasing and R&D team to streamline the preparation and technology transfer of new products)
Essential Requirements
• Bachelor, Master of Science (M.S.) or higher in a technical field (nutrition, biochemistry, chemistry, food science & biology).
• Experience in a pharmaceutical company working with different delivery forms (e.g. tablets, capsules)- minimum 3 years as an R&D Specialist
• Expertise in clean label formulations
• Experience in the production of hard gelatine capsules is a must
• Experience in developing recipes for dry forms (tablets, hard capsules)
• Knowledge of Experience in Quality management system
• Knowledge of the technical and technological aspects of the production of dietary supplements
• Positive can do attitude.
• Very good command of the English
• Analytical skills and technical sense;
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
