Tasks and Qualifications
We are currently looking for several research assistants with a Bachelor's, or Master's Degree to help us advance a range of new research initiatives. The work will be distributed across the various research activities of GEDB, focusing on finance and global health in the context of global environmental change. Therefore applicants should be prepared to combine multiple tasks of possibly varying nature. We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills (primarily quantitative, including R programming or similar). Documented experiences in finance, global health, or epidemiology will be particularly valued, but are not essential.
The assistants will work closely with our team of interdisciplinary researchers to compile literature (scientific and "grey" literature), identify, amass, and analyse relevant data and summarise important work related to the specific topic in focus. The assistants may also be required to help organise, and participate in, international workshops. Assistants can expect to often be part of the full research process, and as such the RA positions within GEDB should be seen as an excellent opportunity to gather research experience for candidates interested in an academic future.

Duration
100% for 12 months (with possible/likely extension), starting from as soon as possible (start date is negotiable)
Salary
According to agreement.
