The company was founded in 1976 in the sailing metropolis of Marstrand, and here we still manufacture all our products today. We are proud of our advanced machine park and skilled staff, and the demand for our Swedish-made quality products is great. 85 percent is exported. Now we need to expand our team with a really good production technican/toolmaker.
THE SERVICE: In the role of production technician / toolmaker at Rutgerson Marine, you are responsible for fixtures, support, aids and efficiencies for your departments where employees should turn to you when they need help. You will also have 2-3 long-term projects that you work on and where there is sometimes a collaboration between you and the other two people in the production technology team which consists of a toolmaker and a production technician to come up with the best solution and play on your respective strengths.
You work with making fixtures, repairing press / mold tools and other aids by making CAD models, drawings, machining, rigging, cam programming and welding.
You will have responsibilities Areas Press, Robot, Assembly, Bearings and help the toolmaker with maintenance of the tools.
The other production technician will have responsibilities NC, Water Cutting, Assembly and exhibition materials
The toolmaker has the main responsibility for all tool maintenance and acts as a production technician for the injection molding department.
You will also work with our designer in various projects where we develop new products or modify existing ones, then it can be the development of prototypes, drawing materials, test equipment and production aids.
But you will work closely together and the distribution may be different depending on your strengths.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You like a combination of physical work and finding technical solutions, you probably have a similar role today. You like your job, are a star at problem solving and production technology. But above all, you are a really good and appreciated colleague who engages you and stands up for others. You are not afraid of anything and are happy to give you tricky tasks and find your own ways to facilitate your work. If you also like boating, you are guaranteed to enjoy it, but it is not a requirement. Experience of working with cad / cam is a requirement. It is a merit if you have previously worked with at least some of our production methods before.
We require that you can either speak fluent Swedish or English.
