For this team, they are looking for a talented and goal-oriented Sports product specialist.
Their sports development & product team work on providing the best mobile sports product on the market. They work with a selection of strategic partners and keep pushing the envelope.
Your responsibilities as a Sports Product Specialist you will work very closely with their Product Manager Sports. Your role could be described as a Junior PM role. Your main focus is to gather insights, share knowledge, prepare requirements and communicate both externally and internally. The role is about supporting the Product Manager/Product team to be able to deliver on having the best mobile sports product. Super important skill/mindset is to help out where ever it is needed to achieve results. You will investigate sports markets, keep track on competitors, analyse regulatory requirements for existing and new markets and be supporting the product team & development team with your insights, coordinate internally to make sure they can be data-driven, sometimes prepare requirements for the development teams and communicate with their providers. You make things happen.
You will work closely with colleagues in Stockholm and Malta and have the Product Manager Sports as your team leader. This role also includes regular travelling to Malta and as needed to their other offices in Västerås, Växjö and Milano.
Qualifications:
Day-to-day tasks could include:
• Work closely with their Product Manager Sports with the following;
• Analysing sports markets, new providers and benchmark competitors
• Supporting writing business cases and creating reports
• Assessing identified regulatory/compliance requirements for the sports betting product in existing and new markets, interpret requirements and support and spread the knowledge to the development team
• Project manage regulatory changes or entering new markets from a regulatory perspective
• Project manage cross-projects between different products in the company
• Sometimes prepare requirements/initiatives for the development teams
• Communicate with their providers
• Coordinate with the rest of the organisation and with providers to make sure they can be data-driven and to get qualitative feedback from their users
• Share knowledge to the product and development team
• Make things happen, solve problems, whatever it could be to support the team
Skills:
• Have passion and knowledge about sports and sports betting!
• Strong analytical skills/experience
• Sports operations experience or similar
• Technical understanding
• Strong attention to details
• Fluent and effective oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English
• Project management experience
• Eager to learn more and to develop and be openminded (to help out where ever help is needed)
Very good merits if you have:
• Business analysis background or similar
• Experience and understanding of an agile and lean product development mindset
• Working with business cases and reports
• Experience of working with KPIs in tools like GA, Qlikview, Tableau, Excel
