About the role
Based in Malmö, you will drive requirements and priorities for the team. You will play an important part in laying out the future of part of our system within the tema and of the whole system in interaction with other stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for all the activates connected to product delivery and certification including the communication needed on dial on demand (DOD), rational, schedule as well as the appointment of Proxy Product Owners.
Our team, the North Alarm & Business Logic Team, works in Scrum methodology and is responsible for the Verisure alarm application in the central unit which functions as the brain of our system in constant communication with all the nodes (e.g. smoke detectors, magnet contacts, door locks and cameras). Therefore, connectivity is an essential part of our day-to-day activities working with radio protocols and embedded systems, dealing with radio application for each device, communication and connectivity management of the gateway with the backend, including the security radio protocol, E2PROM data, Mbed TLS and LwIP.

About the candidate profile
We are looking for a Product Owner with strong emphasis on our embedded software development area. We expect that you have proven experience in working closely with developers at a system level. If you also have experience with software architecture and system engineering, this is be considered a plus!
You have the ability to coordinate various activities with multiple stakeholders involved thanks to your project management skills. You are persistent and capable of following through led by your positive attitude and "can do" approach.
In addition, you are analytical and have strategic mindset that allow you to make sure decisions are sound and based on data.
You are used to creating structure in an engaged and solution-oriented way as well as to empowering colleagues without formal management authority but rather through the creation of trustful relationships on all levels.
Lastly, you are equipped with outstanding communication skills enabling you to relay complex information in a simple, clear, and concise manner. We are an international and multicultural work environment, therefore it 's essential you 're fluent in English, both written and spoken forms.
Qualifications
* 5 years or more of experience in a software development organisation.
* Experience in and understanding of embedded systems and connectivity.
* Technical communication skills, both written and oral.
* Experience in and understanding of working with complex systems requiring legacy management and compatibility challenges.
* Proficient English skills.
* Several years of experience with C programming language and Linux systems.
* Experience with software configuration management systems like Git, Gerrit, Bitbucket and incident tracking tools like Jira is considered a merit.
* Hands on experience in software development and software testing is a merit.
