As the Procurement and Logistics Manager at High Voltage Products you will be part of ABB Power Grids Division and located in Ludvika, Sweden. High Voltage Products is business unit within ABB's Power Grids division. The business unit develops, manufactures and markets high voltage products for HVAC and HVDC systems, such as surge arresters, breakers, instrument transformers, capacitors, cooling systems and cable accessories. Tasks:
We are looking for two Procurement and Logistics Managers to High Voltage Products in the Northern European Region. As a Manager you will lead a team of appr. 10 specialists to execute purchasing and logistics strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. Your mission will be to manage planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts as well as to guide, motivate and develop employees within HR policies and Group Procurement & Logistics excellence guidelines.
Your responsibilities will also include implementing effective sourcing strategies and programs to drive improvement in cost, quality and delivery. You will be providing and maintaining standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with Company directives and guidelines as well as monitoring and reporting internal and supplier performance (KPIs), quality issues and development actions.
Requirements:
We are looking for motivated and positive managers with an ability to build and develop teams. The successful candidate has international experience as well as an interest in technology and the products we work with. Experience in Procurement and Logistics or a similar branch is an advantage.
Furthermore, you have previous knowledge of strategic sourcing and a deep understanding of finance. Experience in negotiation, contract and supplier management is also a prerequisite. To succeed in the role you need at least 5 years of experience as a manager and a degree in Civil Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar. In this role you will be in contact with both local and global suppliers and would therefore need to be fluent in Swedish and English in writing and speech.
