Some of the changes that we see today, such as customers going global and increasing digital customer interactions, emphasize the need for a more unified global approach.
As part of the transformation into one global sales function for Sandvik Coromant, we are now looking for an Operations Manager for Sales Area North Europe. In this role you report directly to the Sales Area Manager, and the location for the position is flexible within the Sales Area.
Key performance areas
As Operations Manager for Sales Area North Europe you ensure that the Sales Area is operating as efficiently and effectively as possible, making the best use of resources, technology and opportunities available. You manage and coordinate all Business Operations resources and primary activities in the Sales Area and respective markets, and realize and maximize global and regional synergies and operational efficiencies. You also ensure that the Sales Area is utilizing IT and technology in the best way possible. In this position you develop our customer service and commercial activities, focusing on increased automation, customer satisfaction and improved operating efficiency. Additionally, you are responsible for primary Sandvik Coromant systems and IT interface and demands within the Sales Area; provide overall expert knowledge and direction in Sandvik Coromant business processes, systems and ways of working; perform Operational Demand Planning in combination with Business Control; and act as primary Global Operations speaking partner.
Travel is an essential part of the job.
Your profile
You have a degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain and at least five years' experience working in commercial or Business Operations management, Supply Chain management or Service Desk management. You also have experience from working in a leading position in a global setting. We expectthat you have good knowledge of the total Coromant offerand your previous work has provided you with solids skills in business processes, logistics, quality and IT. Furthermore, you have a holistic understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and your presentation skills are exceptional. Experience with conflict management and well-developed negotiation skills are necessary in this position and, as we act in a global context, you must be fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
