We currently have the following job opening;
New Energy Vehicles (NEV) Homologation Expert
The NEV Homologation Expert works in the Vehicle Homologation & Compliance department and acts as the company legal requirement and homologation expert in the field of new energy vehicles. The main responsibilities of the department is to ensure Automotive Regulations knowledge within CEVT - all markets, and also to lead the organization in securing Vehicle Homologation and Compliance.
The position is based in Gothenburg and reports to Director, Environmental Regulations and Homologation
Responsibilities and tasks
- To act as the company legal requirement and homologation expert in the field of new energy vehicles for all applicable markets including China, the EU and the USA.
- To co-ordinate and supervise homologation and certification activities in order to receive Component-, System- and National Vehicle approvals.
- To manage certification activities such as;
- Application material for documentation
- Necessary authority contacts for the specific responsible area
- Detailed time-plans for the certification activities
Profile and Background
- Deep knowledge within NEV regulatory areas in all applicable markets
- Technical knowledge within NEV homologation and certification
- Ability to lead and drive with persistency to finalize your tasks
- Courageous in driving regulatory issues
- Strong drive and be able to work independently
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiply tasks in a dynamic and developing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to travel
