THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
We plan the supply chain from suppliers to dealers in order to secure the best possible spare parts availability to our customers at the right cost, we are in charge of running Support Distribution Centers and Central Distribution Center Gent operations, and we also have in charge the relationship towards our dealers and market companies about service market logistics topics.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this position you will have the possibility to work with establishing one Volvo Group team together with the Sales organization and SML as well as setting and following joint plans with local sales organization for how to bring dealers to the next level. You will work with the other Managers in Region Gent/EU as well as different stakeholders within SML, brands and sales organizations to establish and develop strong collaboration.

You will secure our ~1000 Volvo Trucks and Penta dealers in Europe are aware and compliant with our DIM concept ; Dealer Inventory Management concept giving your team the responsibility of steering spare parts stock at dealers, optimizing cost and service at dealer level. You will lead a team of dealer coaches who are in close contact with an assortment of dealers, promoting Volvo tools and supporting dealers towards our customers in the Europe region.

Your team consists of around 10 employees acting on our Trucks and Penta dealers in Europe in order to optimize their business (Dealer Service Index = availability of spare parts at dealer, Dealer stock Turnover rate, Healthy stock ratio, Order classes usage,...).
An energizing job combining the belonging to a central team dealing with global concepts and standards, and the direct interaction with dealers and their day to day business; a customer is not a concept when you work with dealers! You are instrumental in securing that your employees are excellent Volvo ambassadors.

You report to the Director of Supply Planning and Dealer Inventory Management Europe and are a member of the management team.

University degree in appropriate academic qualification or equivalent experience

Volvo Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions, as well as all production of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks. The organization is responsible for spare parts supplies to the Group 's customers as well as for designing, operating and optimizing logistics and supply chain for all brands, production facilities and distribution centers where the Volvo Group operates.
