If so, then we are hoping you to join our newly formed Service & Parts Assortment Engineering Team (SPAE).
Who are we?
Aftermarket Technology (AMT) is a global entity working to maximize the uptime of the vehicles for Volvo Group Trucks brands. Customers' success is our focus.
Active in all R&D activities, we are engaged in future technologies for both vehicles and uptime services. We are focusing on connectivity, digitization and predictive care for our customers.
We are accountable for the maintainability of the vehicles by influencing the design and the technology choices, we make our vehicles and components easy to maintain, and we improve the vehicle uptime, customers' success and thus the Volvo Group profitability. For each vehicle launched on the market, we deliver Operations and procedures, Spare Parts assortment and information, Repair and Maintenance Solutions, Diagnostic solutions, Special Tools and Standard Times.

What will you work with?
As a leader, you develop people to support future challenges contributing to AMT strategic focus and business. You drive, initiate and prepare the development of activities related to emerging technologies incorporation into our products for enhancing customer and business success. In this role, you secure alignment, engagement and collaboration with stakeholders for implementing new solutions for our products. You drive operational excellence, leverage synergies and harmonized product solutions in close collaboration with global functions.
You foster an innovative, engagement and competitive culture where we attract and retain talents to develop future technologies for uptime services, and you will drive teams' efficiency and effectiveness in close collaboration with a global management team. You also drive the strategy, continuous improvement and change management in collaboration with relevant functions and stakeholders.
In this role, you will be a member of the Service and Parts Assortment Engineering global management team and report to the Director - Service & Parts Assortment Engineering, Aftermarket Technology.

To succeed in this role, we also believe you have:
A master's degree in engineering or equivalent
8-10 years of experience from globally working in product and business development within automotive industry
Experience and knowledge of the Volvo Group, particularly in technology and/or business
Knowledge and deep insight into our customer usage of our products
High level of personal integrity and capability to act as a team player
