You will be directly leading a marketing and sales organization of 200 people in Sweden. This responsibility includes operations such as service, warehouses and customer support/technical support. It includes both product marketing and marketing communications. There is also a sales organization with sales specialists located all across Sweden, close to our customers. In this position you are managing a P&L statement with orders, cost, cash and profit responsibility.

The sales process is both repetitive product sales with a long sales cycle as well as project sales with more of a deal closing process and project execution. Your main target is to develop the people and the teams in order to grow the orders received every year in line with our budgets. Equally important is to manage price so we get paid for the values we provide to our customers and to improve the productivity and effectiveness of the organization. Ability to work together with your future management colleagues in ABB is essential as we have many common customers and also share some common resources.

You report to the EP lead division manager for Northern Europe and are part of the regional EP management team as well as the ABB Sweden management team. Your office location in Sweden can be Göteborg, Nyköping, Västerås or Stockholm. This position requires domestic travel every work week within Sweden and 1-2 times a year in Europe. Total orders is 1700 MSEK per year and growing.

Your proven ability to lead and manage a large and complex organization is a must. You also need to have a strong business drive, leading the people in the team to increase both orders and profit. Domain knowledge within power and automation and/or experience from our sales channels is a clear advantage in this position. But most important is leadership and the ability to build structure and give all the people in the team the best preconditions to perform.

It is a must that you have excellent communication skills in speech and writing, both in English and Swedish. International experience is a plus, as business success depends on excellent collaboration with colleagues in the global division. Academic education is preferential. You need to have the intellect and the listening skills to build relations with customers and employees and understand how we can provide more value for our customers. Finally you need to be good on your numbers and your actions how to achieve them.

You will be part of ABB Sweden management team and be heading the marketing and sales organization of ABB Electrification Products division in Sweden selling products, solutions and services to Swedish customers.

We also help our customers to increase productivity and minimize environmental impact. Products and solutions ranges from medium voltage switchgear to the machine, to the CDC, to the distribution board and the wall socket outlet. Electrification products is a channel based business selling via EPC:s, system integrators, OEM:s, distributors, panel builders and installers. We also work with consultants and service providers and have a competitive offering in strong growth segments such as Solar, Wind, EV-charging and datacenters.
