About the job
Group Legal consists of a dozen people who are based at Alfa Laval 's head office in Lund, Sweden, as well as in other countries worldwide. The position is based at the head office and you will report to the head of legal. In this role, you will mainly work with Sourcing, Operations, Research & Development (R&D), and Digitalization. You will review and provide advice on complex agreements as well as establishing guidelines, templates and routines related to legal matters within these areas. You will develop and influence the way Group Legal provides legal advice and training within these areas.Furthermore, you will provide legal advice and training to the organization and travel internationally.
Who are you?
You have a Master of Laws (LLM) or any other relevant degree required to practicing law. Moreover, you have at least 10 years of relevant work experience, for example as legal counsel at a company within the industry sector or equivalent. You may also have experience from business law firm, but it is important that you understand the role of an in-house counsel and how it contributes to achieving the objectives of the business.You have comprehensive understanding of the legal and contractual areas that are relevant to the business. Experience of working with R&D agreements and licensing is beneficial.
Given that Alfa Laval is an international company, excellent written and oral skills in English are mandatory. As a person, you are ateam player and skillful in communicating with different roles throughout the organization. Furthermore, you are strategic, business-oriented and interested in and building and developing Alfa Laval Group Legal.
