The responsibilities of the regulatory & compliance legal counsel will cover areas related to regulatory compliance, regulatory strategies and risk management
ACTIVITIES IN THE ROLE
to continuously develop, keep up to date and improve Alight's compliance program in all countries where Alight is active (currently Sweden, Spain and France)
to continuously review, keep up to date and improve Alight's compliance policies
to create and manage effective actions plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
to regulatory audit company procedures, practices and documents to identify possible weaknesses and compliance risks
to strengthen a culture of compliance, e.g. through communication, reporting, training activities, drafting legal analysis, workshops, and management reviews
to play an integral role in Alight's continued European expansion by researching regulatory conditions of European markets and lead local counsels
to support Alight's teams with legal matters related to regulatory strategies, including permitting strategy
to head Alight's risk management committee and advise management and the board of directors of possible risks
