About the role
Our IT Operations team is currently growing, and we are looking for a IT Vendor & sourcing Manager! You will be a part of IT and you will work close to the IT management team and business stakeholders.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Overall responsible for the Outsourcing process at Nordax for all company functions
• Set strategic plans for five most important IT vendors together with the IT management team and business stakeholders
• Initiate and lead vendor negotiations for IT, both with new and current vendors
• Participate in the development of vendor management tools, processes, and way of managing vendor relationships in a continuously changing environment
• IT vendor follow-up including deliveries and performances, and regulatory third-party management controls
• Monitor and ensure that contracts are kept current and renegotiated as needed
Your Profile
You are confident in acting as an expert in Nordax's sourcing challenges. You understand sourcing process of IT industry and have good ideas for cost-efficient sourcing strategies. Ideally, you already have several years of experience in IT and vendor management and negotiations within the financial sector. Furthermore, you are interested in both banking and fintech and have a strong drive to grow together with Nordax. We believe you have:
• Multiple years of experience with leading end-to-end IT Vendor management and Spend management
• Experience from working in financial industries with formal outsourcing, vendor engagements reported to supervisory authorities
• Good knowledge of IT industry trends and methodologies to improve our IT performance and operations
• Proven track record of developing sourcing processes and excellent negotiation
• Demonstrated success in license, procurement and IT contract management
• Strong presentation and interpersonal/communication skills
• Ability to work both strategically and operationally
• Professional proficiency in both Swedish and English
Big pluses if you have experience in:
• Innovative and customer-centric mind with a focus on results
• Experience from working with service providers
• Knowledge in outsourcing regulations for banks
