hela Sverige We are now looking for a nanny to one of our most appreciated families to work for in Djursholm. We have placed nannies for the family during the past 6 years and our nannies have enjoyed the position and the time with the family a lot. It's now time for the family to find a new nanny and the position comes with separate accommodation for the nanny. The family offers accommodation for the nanny in the form of their own cottage on the family's land. The cottage has two rooms, kitchen, shower, toilet and sauna. The nanny is required to work around 25 hours/week on average. From time to time the nanny will be needed up to 40 hours per week, all overtime is reimbursed in addition to the fixed monthly salary for 25 hours/week. The family have two small children, a 3-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy.
The work is distributed approximately 50/50 over work with the children and other chores at home. The family has a cleaner but easier household chores such as laundry, ironing, keeping the children's things in order, sorting toys, preparing meals, keeping the kitchen tidy and organised, shopping, running errands etc. are included in the position. There is flexibility around when the household tasks are to be performed and they can be scheduled so that it fits in with the nanny's schedule if the nanny has other commitments such as studies. The family is also looking for someone who can help cook for the children, so an interest in cooking is a big plus but not a requirement.
The children are two happy, lovely children who like to play both outside and inside. The family haven't had an english speaking nanny before but the children understand some and are very keen to learn. A nanny with a high level of english and experience in teaching children english is therefor desirable.
Both parents are present in the children's everyday life and want to spend as much time with them as possible but need help to get their everyday life together as they both work a lot. The working hours are somewhat flexible and can be adapted according to what suits the nanny, 3 afternoons per week, 3 weekend evenings (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) per month is a requirement and a few mornings when you leave the children at preschool. The family also appreciates if you can work a few hours during the day on the weekend, but it is made up together with the nanny so that it is suitable for both in that case.
A nanny with a drivers license is a big plus but not a requirement for the position. The position can be combined with studies as it is close to Stockholm University, among other places. If the nanny wants to work more the family can offer more hours with cleaning and further household duties. It might also be possible to combine this position with another position with us to get a some more hours.
The position will commence as soon as we have found the right candidate.
Salary in addition to the accommodation provided is SEK 8,500 per month.
