The job:
You will have the responsibility for Plasman Europe 's R&D Department, with 10 highly qualified specialists within the areas of painting, measuring, material and central lab.
You are expected to bring front edge competence to the organization, having the right experience to take on strategic responsibility for R & D within Plasman Europe. You will be accountable for resource planning, follow up and securing of the R & D financial and quality targets, including proof of concept, as well as initiate R&D projects in compliance with the company board decision. You will report to Vice President Engineering and will be based in the Gothenburg headquarter.
Qualifications, Experience & Personality:
• At least 10 years professional experience in the plastics with an automotive supplier or manufacturer
• A Bachelor or Master education in Engineering
• More than 5 years of professional experience in engineering management
• Proven management skills
• Area of expertise: testing, plastic and surface technology
• Accustomed to work in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills in English as a working language
• Strategic ability as well as an interest in tactical and operational questions
