Plantagen is recruiting a Buyer to business area Dry Goods.The overall responsibilities for a Buyer is to implement the sourcing strategy across the supplier Base. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring effective supplier base for each category and securing One Voice of Plantagen with all our suppliers. To secure best possible performance from supplier Base for whole product life cycle from NPD to end of life. Develop and deliver sourcing Action plan that is in line with the sourcing strategy and secures delivery and performance of each product vs target all the way to customer. The Buyer is an experienced sourcing professional with strong business insight.
The position is at Group level and is based in Stockholm. You will report to the Global Sourcing Manager.
Main tasks and areas of responsibility:
• Leading potential supplier and technologies screening, sharing the knowledge with the category teams.
• Implementing Supplier Relationship Management, contracting, supplier development programs etc
• Securing supplies over all competitiveness on cost, quality, delivery, CSR etc.
• Setting up RFI and RFQ
• Securing and developing capacity both long and short term
• Target and goal setting by category and supplier
• Managing sourcing activities with suppliers in NPD process
• Travel in Europe and Asia
Requirements:
• University degree or similar education in supply chain
• Minimum 5 years of experience from sourcing
• Good technical skills and a documented commercial experience is necessary
• Experience from international buying processes and EU's import and export regulations
• Good market know-howand experience from customers- and sales oriented procurement strategies
• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Swedish and English skills in written and spoken
