Job Description
The Product Team - Digital Product Information Carriers
You will belong to a product team that is part of the Sourcing & Production domain in Business Tech. The Digital Product Information Carriers is a newly established team with the mission to develop, rollout and maintain our digital information carriers such as RFID, 2D Datamatrix and RF as well as future carrier technology.
Our Digital Product Information Carriers are the link between our consumer applications and our products and are therefore a key enabler for many operational and strategic use cases. Information Carrier Technology is rapidly developing and generates detailed insights into our supply chain and customer journey. This is your chance to join a team which connects to the core of our company strategy: To become our industry's most impactful ecosystem.
Qualifications
As a Business Expert you will be in the center of the action where product meets business. You will be working closely with Product Owners, development teams and other stakeholders, to make sure that the business processes & tech is working hand in hand. You will be part of a multi competent product team having the full responsibility to identify and create business value through all phases of the development lifecycle, from idea and analysis to working solutions.
Examples of responsibilities that comes with the role:
Contribute with business expertise on information carrier technology and industry development
Together with the product team, define strategic vision, create product roadmap based on deep understanding of product development and industry standards
Support the Product Owner in developing & testing hypotheses to explain both macro and micro trends and opportunities for business stakeholders
Support the Product Owner in developing a strong understanding of the product and define appropriate business, product and quality metrics and key success indicators
Your mindset & skills
You and your product team will work both operational and strategic and identify plenty of areas of potential. To make an impact in this role, we believe you have the following:
You connect easily with people and you build trust and relationships at all levels
You are truly a "doer", willing to get hands-on solving any problems needed to make the team move forward
Previous experience of GS1 standards, EPCIS, and/or supply chain scenarios supported by RFID technology
You are very interested in related technology and architectural aspects
Previous experience of production and/or supply chain operations, preferably within the retail industry
Strong communication & presentation skills and you are perceived as a thought leader within the area
You are strategic, analytical, understand customer and business needs, and are able to tie them to product value propositions
Experience from working according to agile principles is beneficial
