We are now seeking a Business Controller who will work as a Country Business Controller for local Sales and Marketing in Denmark and Norway to help us further building the future of food. You will play an active and important role with financial support to our main brand Santa Maria for both Retail markets in Denmark and Norway. You will be based in Möndal, Sweden and report to the Director of Business Controlling, Scandinavia & Central Europe. You will be part of a great team of people based in our locations across Europe.
In this role you will act as Business Partner in all finance related topics to the two management teams of Retail Denmark and Retail Norway. You will take a leading and proactive role in providing business and finance support and manage month end closing, reporting, financial forecasting and business planning process. Furthermore, you will deliver proactive support in identifying and executing improvement of future business performance and support in executing strategic initiatives taken from the senior management team.
What you will do
Proactively identify risks and opportunities and give recommendations and proposals for improving business results to the management teams
Calculate total price requirements based upon documentation and argumentation from Sourcing/Sales and set targets per market.
Take an active role in Strategic Pricing way of working, together with our business
Give proactive recommendations and identify risks and opportunities for future Business results
Provide financial analysis and business recommendation in Brand, Product and Customer profitability
Support in executing strategic initiatives from Paulig Senior Management teams
Coordinating the local budget process together with other Business Controllers as well as with the local management teams
Analyzing month end result on a total level and explain deviations in main P&L drivers to the management teams
Who we think you are
You would be a great fit if your background and experience would look similar to this:
You have a Bachelor degree or Master of Business Administration
Minimum 4 years of experience in Controlling in a medium to large company ideally in the Consumer Goods industry or other products selling
Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management
Commercial interest and strong Business Partner Skills
International experience is a plus
Experience from working in ERP system, preferably Power BI
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
