What does the role entail?
As our Manufacturing Exellence Head your main purpose is to empower our site in using the tools and ways of working within Six Sigma and the Outokumpu standard for this - what we're calling ManEx. As our head of improvements your focus is to lead and develop our site, helping us to raise us to the next level.
You'll play an important role in driving the cultural change in the various sections of QP in Degerfors where you will work "hands on" with several improvement measures. As a member of the Leadership Team of Operations Degerfors, you will contribute to developing the site.
You will be part of a small but very committed group and also have colleagues across the world which will allow you to participate in the global Manufacturing Excellence network. You'll also have a close collaboration with the Green Belts at out site in Degerfors.
You report to our plant manager.
Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with deep knowledge within Manufacturing Exellence. You have an engineering background and are familiar with Six Sixma and Lean improvement tools. You use data to analyze & calculate improvements and can successfully implement new ways of working with the knowledge you've gained from your previous experience from leadership and / or project management.
You have a coaching approach to leadership and is a natural leader in cultural changes. You are result-oriented, driven, analytical and proactive. You are a clear communicator and knows what makes communication effective. Since we're working on a global market good knowledge in English and Swedish, spoken & written, is a requirement.
