We are now looking for a Bachelor/Master Thesis student for a Chassis Test Bench for Shock Absorber evaluations
Description
This role is part of the Laboratories & Workshop Services and Support team and reports to the manager Laboratories & Workshop Operations.
You will part of a team of Engineers, with responsibility for rebuilding and reconstruction of the test bench for shock absorbers. The department cooperate closely with the rest of TDC and of course also with Manufacturing Department. We do not only perform tests for NEVS but also provide Lab also provide test capacity and competence to external customers.
The role involves:
- Act as subject matter expert at NEVS regarding soft ware requirements and electronics design
- Define strategies and requirements for the final test solution.
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks with electronics/mechatronics expertise.
- Support development, verification and validation electronics/mechatronics.
- Support mentoring and training activities.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Study Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge in in Lab View® is necessary.
- Understanding in mechanical solutions and systems.
- Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
- Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded.
- Have good communication skills.
- Adaptability in the interaction with different persons, groups and culture.

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
