The Sales Director will be responsible for PocketMobile's existing customers along with the acquisition of new. The role encompasses our marketing and lead generation function, new customer sales, together with account management, customer retention and partner management.

The role includes responsibility for our partners and customers in Europe, NA and Australia / New Zealand. Currently our team is based in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Melbourne, AU.

The Sales Director will report to the General Manager and is part of PocketMobile's leadership team, based in Stockholm.

Job Responsibilities:

Managing an organization which is selling to and winning new accounts and partners along with growing and maintaining business with existing accounts. Including an own hands-on sales activity.
Responsible for sales results, including - license revenue, consulting revenue, pipe-line progress (growth and stage) and PocketMobile's growth, revenue and OI performance.
Leadership of the Sales and Marketing team including people development, organization, motivation and follow up.
Defining and continuously updating a go to market strategy supporting PocketMobile's growth objectives.
Building strong relationships with both external partners and internal colleagues (Alliances, Services, Customer Support, Development, Marketing) to ensure an entire support ecosystem is built around the customer

Your profile

A multi-year experience and proven track record from senior sales and marketing management positions. You have previously worked within organizations delivering enterprise and business SW solutions, combining products and services. Preferably you have experience from organizations delivering solutions that are supporting the customers operations (ERP, Supply Chain and similar). You are a solid people manager with the ability to lead and motivate, directly and indirectly, teams involved in the sales process. You have a good understanding of modern digital marketing methods and tools, for example, content based marketing and account based marketing. Experienced and confident in developing a successful go to market strategy by understanding the market and the customers business and issues, and how our product relates to solving those issues. You have previously worked in an international business environment and able to handle customer interactions in different cultures.

Personal qualities

A "high energy" business leader with the ability to combine a responsibility for a strategic direction, with "day to day" execution and participation.
Excellent leadership skills with a clear ability to motivate direct and in-direct reports.
Excellent communication skills, including presentations, written communication and interpersonal skills, together with strong negotiation and business skills.
Ability to quickly understand the dynamics of the targeted verticals and customers and the value PocketMobile shall deliver into the segment.
Willingness to travel internationally as required (including AU and US).
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
